Joseph Crivello

Joseph P. Crivello, 96, of Melrose formerly of Woburn died Thursday, June 23 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Everett on September 5, 1914 he was the son of the late Mariano and Mary (Cannizzo) Crivello.

A former resident of Woburn, Mr. Crivello had been a Melrose resident for the past 9 years, Mr. Crivello was a graduate of Everett High School and Bentley College. He was a WWII Army Veteran and had served in the Egyptian Campaign. He had retired from General Latex in Cambridge.

Mr. Crivello was the brother of the late Lena Lynch, Anna DeGaravilla and Anthony and Peter Crivello. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Saturday at 11am. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service starting at 10am. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
