Joseph Boudreau

Joseph H . Boudreau of Stoneham died Saturday August 20 at age 91. Born in Canada on September 5, 1919 the son of the late Henry & Margaret (Forest) Boudreau . Mr. Boudreau came to the United States at age 5 and was raised in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School. He was a retired clerk with the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Boudreau was a W.W. II veteran and served with the U.S. Army in combat operations during D-Day and the invasion of Normandy.

He was the beloved husband of the late Edna (Fishburne) Boudreau . He was the brother of the late Leo, Francis, Arthur, Clement, Romeo, Rene and Raymond Boudreau , Stella Sillari, Blanche Lamothe, Viola Benoit, Margaret Basteri & Evelyn Aylward. He is also survived by his favorite sister-in-law, Irene Harris of Wilmington and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham Wednesday at 9am to be followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10:00. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home Tuesday 5-8 pm.
