Joseph Nader

Joseph P. Nader, 97 ½, passed away peacefully June 9, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family and his nurse Corey from Care Dimensions.

He was the husband of the late Harriett (Melkonian) Nader, beloved father of Doreen Morandi and her husband Eric of White Plains, NY, Sharon Hodson and her husband Robert of Bradford and Charlene Nader-Fontaine of Stoneham and loving Papa to Nicole Morandi, Tiffany Fontaine, Rachel and Melanie Hodson. He is survived by his sister Ann Jefferson and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces grand-nephew, great grand-nephew and friends.

Joe graduated from Quincy High School 1935 and proudly served his country in World War II in the 101st Airborne division as a paratrooper. Joe was the Superintendent at Lindenwood Cemetery for 27 years and retired in 1986. He then started his own landscaping business and enjoyed life to the fullest with his family and friends. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed by many.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main Street, Stoneham, Saturday, June 18, beginning at 9:30am to be followed by a Graveside Service at Lindenwood Cemetery, Montvale Ave, Stoneham at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St, Suite B102, Danvers, MA 01923.
