Josephine Confalone

Josephine A. Confalone, 89 a longtime resident of Wakefield died Saturday August 22 at the Meadowview Nursing Care Facility in North Reading.

Born in Wellesley, January 13, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Sabatino and Marie (Orsini) DelRossi.

Josephine was raised and educated in Wakefield. She was retired from the L.B. Evans Shoe Co.

Josephine was the wife of the late Antonio Confalone and is survived by her 2 daughters; Donna Tibbetts and her husband Dennis of Wilmington and Diane Rock of Lynn, her brother Alfred DelRossi, 2 sisters; Yolanda Pyburn of Peabody and Agnes DiBenidictis of Wakefield. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 4 brothers, Musimino, Johnny, Serafino, Domenic "Goodie" DelRossi and her sister Stella Parker.

A Funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 11am. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday 4-8pm. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
