Joyce E. Bohannon, 67, of Methuen and formerly Stoneham and Reading died at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston on Sunday, December 15.

Born in Medford on October 7, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Mary E. (Stone) Connors.

Mrs. Bohannon was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School, class of 1964. She was a long time Realtor in the local area for many years.

Mrs. Bohannon was the beloved wife of the late John F. Bohannon. She was the loving mother of Kim M. Racca and her husband Anthony of Andover and the late Christine A. Bohannon. She was the sister of Mary Jane Hanright of Stoneham and Judy A. Moore of Methuen and Joseph R. Connors of VA. She was the grandmother of John A. and Samantha C. Racca. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald – Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Friday at 8:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9:00. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8.
