Judith Allan

ALLAN, Judith Marie (Conley), March 31, age 73. Loving mother of Kenneth R. Allan of Stoneham, Scott D. Allan and husband Luiz Costa, Jr. of NY and Nancy A. Allan of Stoneham. Devoted grandmother of Jasmine and Kesandra. Sister of Tilly Foley and Barbara Tirimacco. Also survived by her former husband Robert G. Allan .

A life-long resident of Stoneham, Judy graduated from Stoneham High in 1963 and was married at St. Patrick's Church in 1965. She is the 10th child of Edward Conley and Margaret Theresa McMillan, also of Stoneham. Judy always fondly recollected her time on 'the hill' with her extended family including all nine of her brothers and sisters: Marjorie, Edward, Mary, Charlie, Danny, Doris, Tilly, Barbara and Joey and what seemed like countless cousins, nieces and nephews. She spent her young married life traveling to Canada to visit her in-laws in Montreal whom she always enjoyed seeing during summers and holidays.

Later in life, when her kids, Kenny, Scott and Nancy had grown she started a new career and became a physical therapy aide spending several years working at the McLaughlin House in North Reading for people suffering from traumatic brain injury. She truly enjoyed her work and had great patience and compassion for the McLaughlin house residents. Later in life Judy, enjoyed spending time with her family in particular her sisters Mary and Barbara, her grandchildren Jasmine and Kesandra and her little dog Gabriel who she loved to spoil.

Funeral from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., STONEHAM on Thursday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home Wednesday from 4-8 PM.

Donations in lieu of flowers to be sent the McLaughlin House.
