Julia Bonaiuto-Brown, 71, of Tewksbury died Sunday, June 26 at her home.
Born in Brookline on March 4, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Dacey) Bush.
Julia was a graduate of Stoneham High School and the Mansfield Beauty Academy in Boston. She was the former owner of Salon Underground and The Mane Event in Stoneham; she had most recently worked for Michele Coiffures of Stoneham. She enjoyed tole painting, stain glass, floral arranging, gardening, and sewing.
Julia was the wife of Richard Brown and the late Salvatore Bonaiuto. She was the mother of Julie Ann LeBaron and her husband Richard of Manchester, NH and the sister of John Bush of Billerica and the late Frank Bush Jr. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for relatives and friends will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Brain Tumor Society, 124 Watertown St., Suite 2D, Watertown, MA 02472.
