Julia R . Rea , 87, of Lynnfield, died on Monday February 10 at her residence.
Born in Lynn on December 11, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Lucy (Coscia) Bucchiere
Ms. Rea was a graduate of Saugus High School, Class of 1950 and attended Burdett Business School. She worked for General Electric as a secretary, a licensed realtor and had retired from Analogic in Peabody as a Telecommunication Supervisor. Ms. Rea had been a Lynnfield resident for the past 45 years and was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Lynnfield. She enjoyed oil painting, knitting, crocheting, crosswords, puzzles, cribbage & reading.
Ms. Rea is survived by her three daughters; Pamela J. Munger of Delaware, Lori DeCosta of Danvers and Carolyn Morse of Danvers, her three sons; Lawrence Rea of Windham, NH, Stephen Rea of Topsfield and Brian Rea of W. Peabody, her two brothers; Francis Bucchiere of Saugus and David Bucchiere of Florida and her sister Lucille Ventre of New York. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren; Kari, Jennifer, Heather, Bobbi, Frederick, Gregory, Jeffrey, Bayley, Ashley, Lyle, Neil, Ella, Emilia & Clara and her 17 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her three brothers; Roy Bucchiere, John Bucchiere & Michael Bucchiere.
Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, corner of Grove & Salem Sts., Lynnfield at 10am. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield. Visitation for relative and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8pm.
