Julie A. (Ames) Farren, 49, of Stoneham died on Wednesday, February 17 at the Winchester Hospital.

Julie was born in Cambridge on October 17, 1971 and was the daughter of Robert F. Ames and his wife Cheryl of Arlington and Suzanne LaRocca of Stoneham

Julie was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of St. Clement High School, Class of 1989 and later graduated from Salem State University, Class of 1994. Beloved wife of her high school sweetheart Bob began a family and later worked in marketing for Delbar in Boston. She enjoyed going on vacations, traveling, Wells Beach in Maine and loved her children immensely.

Julie was the beloved wife of George R. "Bob" Farren and the loving mother of Robert P. Farren and Amanda T. Farren. She was the cherished daughter of Robert F. Ames and his wife Cheryl of Arlington and Suzanne LaRocca of Stoneham. She was the sister of Justin Ames of Everett, Anthony Shaheen of Boston, Robert Ames and his wife Taylor of Boxford, Christopher Ames and his wife Annie of Wakefield. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Saturday at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Friday from 4-7pm.

COVID-19 guidelines will be in effect. Those attending the visitation will be required to wear a mask and are asked to kindly pay their respects to the family and exit the building to allow for all visitors to greet the family. For obit/directions guestbook, visit mcdonaldfs.com
