June Greenwood
June T . Greenwood , 89, of Stoneham, died on Sunday, February 23 at her residence.
Born in Boston on September 24, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Katherine Smith.
Mrs. Greenwood had been a Stoneham resident since 1973. She was raised and educated in Massachusetts. Mrs. Greenwood enjoyed traveling when she was younger, taking care of her three grandsons, ceramics and knitting.
She was the wife of the late John F. Greenwood . Mrs. Greenwood is survived by her son Barry Greenwood of Stoneham, her daughter Carol Greenwood of Stoneham, her three grandsons; Eric, Shawn and Scott and her four sisters; Kathleen DeVine of Tewksbury, Anna Doherty of Everett, Marjorie Decker of Cary, Indiana and Mary Diamond of Canoga Park, California. She was predeceased by her two brothers; Donald Smith and Jack Smith.
A funeral service will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Thursday at 12pm. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8pm. Interment will be held at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
