June Ellis

June M . Ellis , 87, of Wakefield died on Saturday, June 16 at her residence.

Born in Malden on June 10, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Arnold H. and Edna (Pinette) Nelson.

Mrs. Ellis was raised and educated in Malden. She had been a Wakefield resident for the past 57 years. Mrs. Ellis had worked as a Dental Assistant.

She was the wife of the late Howard J. Ellis . Mrs. Ellis survived by her two daughters; Darlene B. Graff and her husband Eric of Rowley and Christine A. Tentindo and her husband Kenneth of Salem and her two sisters; Winifred Mansfield of Saugus and Ethel Benson of Florida. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and her 6 great grandchildren. Mrs. Ellis is predeceased by her brother Harvey Nelson and her five sisters; Edna DePaola, Helen Croteau, Marjorie Goff, Alma Wilkenson and Dorothy Hodge.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Wednesday from 6-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 320 Haverhill St, Reading, MA 01867.
