June Stewart

June Stewart, 74 a longtime Stoneham resident died Monday July 19, at the Glen Ridge Nursing Home in Malden. Born in Cambridge on May 16, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Gertrude (Fitzgerald) Scott.

June was a graduate of Medford High School. She was a former Stewardess for Eastern Airlines.

June was the mother of Christopher Stewart and wife Lauren of Stoneham, Tracy Carreiro and husband Joseph of Medford and Jeffrey Stewart of Melrose. She was the grandmother of Nicholas, Kyle, Brandon, Jared and Conner and the sister of the late Edmund Hammond. June is also survived by her dear friends at the Linden Unit.

A graveside service will be held at the Lindenwood Cemetery, Montvale Ave., Stoneham on Friday at 11am. A period of visitation will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Thursday 4-8pm.
