Karen Barrett

Karen L. Barrett, 63, of Sebastian, FL, formerly of Wakefield and Reading, died on Monday, August 31 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL.

Born in Chelsea on September 21, 1945 she was the daughter of Evelyn (Mathews) Barrett of Sebastian FL and the late Kenneth L. Barrett.

Mrs. Barrett was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1963. She was retired from Polaroid Corporation in Cambridge and later worked for Xyvision.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her two brothers, Kenneth Barrett of Granville, NY and Keith Barrett of Wollaston. She was predeceased by her brother Kevin Barrett.

Visitation will be held in the Covell Chapel of the First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church St., Wakefield on Tuesday starting at 10am followed by a funeral service at 11am. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
