Kathleen Devine

Kathleen P. Devine of Tewksbury and a former longtime Stoneham resident died in Tewksbury on April 29 at age 84. She was born in Somerville on June 21, 1932 and was the daughter of the late John & Catherine (MacLeod) Smith. She was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. She was a resident of Stoneham where she raised her family from 1966 - 1993. She was active in the Senior Center in Tewksbury and enjoyed time with her family and BINGO.

Mrs. Devine was the beloved wife of the late William A. Devine. She was the loving mother of Sharon M. Ruff and her husband James of Wilmington, Kevin W. Devine and his wife Elizabeth of Pelham, NH, Linda A. Castiglione and her husband Frank of Tewksbury and Lori J. Bellino of Billerica. She was the devoted grandmother of Nicole, Shaun, Matthew, Andrew, Allison, Derek, Joseph, Kayla and Tara. She was also the sister of Mary Diamond of CA and the late June Greenwood, Ann Doherty, Margie Decker and Jack and Donald Smith.

Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham on Thursday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 9:00. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8pm.
