Kathleen Shale-Dwyer

Kathleen Shale-Dwyer , 61 of Reading died at her home on Tuesday, July 23.

Born in Summit, NJ on July 24, 1951 she was the daughter of the late John H., Jr. and Patricia R. (Moroney) Shale.

Kathleen was a graduate of St. Elizabeth High School in Convent Station, NJ and attended Centenary College in New Jersey. She worked as a Medical Coordinator for Massachusetts General Hospital for 35 years. Kathleen enjoyed music, and singing in Coffee House venues. She had been a Reading resident for the past 18 years.

She was the beloved wife of Wayne M. Dwyer, the loving mother of Tristan J. Dwyer and his wife Kelly of Andover, and Dillon P. Dwyer of ME. She was the sister of John H. Shale of CA, Michael C. Shale of NJ, Kristine B. Shale of Reading and Kevin P. Shale of Dover, and the grandmother of Jack H. Dwyer.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment, Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home of Stoneham.
