Kathleen Trainor , 64 of Salisbury formerly of Wakefield died Tuesday February 11, at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston.
Born in Melrose December 25, 1955 she was the daughter of Mary (Ryan) Hanley and the late James Hanley.
Kathleen was a graduate of Malden High School class of 1973. She earned her Associate degree from Bunker Hill Community College, her Bachelor degree in Nursing from Salem State College and was currently working towards her Masters in Creative Writing. She recently wrote her first Children's book which is now available on Amazon. Kathleen had recently retired as a Registered Nurse from Brigham & Women's Hospital. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling with her husband Brian and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Kathleen was the beloved wife of Brian Trainor . She was the loving mother of Patrick M. Trainor and his wife Amy of Newburyport, Sheila J. Trainor of Haverhill and Colleen E. Trainor of Boston. Kathleen was the daughter of Mary (Ryan) Hanley of Danvers and the late James Hanley. She was the sister of Janice Taketa of Hawaii, Jimmy Hanley of Greenfield, NH, Mary Dion of Danvers and the late Rosemary Kearney. Kathleen is also survived by her grandchildren Lark and Lily.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Sunday from 1-4pm. Funeral Services will be private.
