Kathryn Burke

Kathryn A. Burke, 19, of Lynnfield died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 18 in Boston.

Born in Melrose on November 17, 1993 she was the cherished daughter of Thomas B. and Kimberly A. (Zappala) Burke of Lynnfield.

Kathryn was raised and educated in Lynnfield and always had a smile on her face.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her four loving brothers; Michael J. Burke, Thomas B. Burke, Jr., Nicholas M. Burke and Brian W. Burke, her loving sister Kelsey J. Burke all of Lynnfield and her beloved grandparents; Bruna Welch of Peabody and Jean & Ralph Burke of Wakefield. Kathryn is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in the Our Lady of the Assumption Church, corner of Grove and Salem Sts., in Lynnfield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8pm.

Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
