Kathy Surette

Kathy A. Surette, 55 of Lynnfield formerly of Malden died Friday July 9, at the Kaplan House in Danvers. Born in Malden, February 21, 1955 she was the daughter of Roy and Martha (Talent) Ghika.

Kathy was a graduate of Malden High School. Kathy had been a Malden resident her entire life before moving to Lynnfield 8 years ago. She worked as the Human Resource Manager at Utica National Insurance in Wakefield. Her hobbies included; cooking, exercising and entertaining.

Kathy was the beloved wife of David M. Surette. She was a devoted mother to Matthew Surette of Saugus, and Katie and Tyler Surette of Lynnfield. Mrs. Surette was the loving daughter of Roy and Martha Ghika of Malden and the dear sister of Nancy Duggan and Robert Ghika, both of Malden, Gary Ghika of Saugus and Tom Ghika of Reading. Kathy was a cherished grandmother to Madison Surette of Malden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great friends.

A Funeral service will be held in the Centre Congregational Church, 5 Summer St., Lynnfield on Tuesday at 11am. A period of visitation will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday from 4-8 pm. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield.
