Kathyrn Gross

Kathryn M . Gross , 50, of Wakefield, died on Thursday, July 15 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Melrose on December 22, 1959, she was the daughter of Janet (Hubbard) Gross of Alfred, ME and the late Frank A. Gross .

Kathryn was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1977. She had worked as a day care provider and later for Johnny's Food Master in Melrose. Kathryn had a great love for animals.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her life companion William Singleton of Wakefield, her son, Robert Lee Singleton, her brother Robert F. Gross and his wife Lisa of Sanford, ME, her sister, Diane Piccoli and her husband Mario of Huntsville, AL and her godson, Steven M . Gross . She was predeceased by her brother Steven Gross .

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 21 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
