Kenneth Lowry

Kenneth P. Lowry, 68, a lifelong resident of Wakefield died Monday October 8, at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading.

Born in Melrose, He was the son of the late Edgar and Gladys (Forward) Lowry.

Kenneth was a graduate of Wakefield High School class if 1962, and Northeastern University. He also received his Masters in Business Administration form Northeastern. Kenneth was a former Sergeant on the Wakefield Police Department. He later worked for General Electric in Lynn, and Electric Insurance in Beverly. He was a member of the Wakefield Lodge of Elks and was a Past Master for the Golden Rule AF & AM Masonic Lodge. He was also a past member of the West Side Social Social Club

He is survived by his wife Marilyn R. (Cheever) Lowry; his 2 children; Jennifer Lynne Lowry and Jason Charles Lowry and his wife Nancy all of Wakefield.He was the brother of Ralph Lowry of Acton, David Lowry of Wakefield and the larte Robert, Edgar and George Lowry. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ryan, Dylan, Julie, and Joseph and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at the Centre Congregational Church, 5 Summer St., Lynnfield on Friday at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
