Kimberly Cresta

Kimberly K . (Ryder) Cresta , 47, died Wednesday, June 1 at the Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport after a courageous ten year battle with breast cancer.

Born in Altus, OK on January 10, 1964 she was the daughter of Charles Ryder of Walpole and Karen (Martin) Rhodes of Haverhill.

Kimberly was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1982. She was a 2008 graduate of Northern Essex Community College and attended Fitchburg State University. Mrs. Cresta had been working as a teachers aid at the Moody Elementary School in Haverhill.

She was the wife of Nicholas S. Cresta , Jr. She was the loving mother of Kathleen K . Cresta , Susanne V. Cresta and Anthony M. Cresta all of Haverhill. Sister of Kevin Ryder and his wife Kim of Wakefield, Kristina DeMala and her husband Tony of Tyngsboro and Matthew and Jason Ryder of Walpole. Kimberly was the niece of Bill Ryder of Wakefield and Tisha Hansen of Reading. Kim is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 10:30am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11:30am. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-5pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Kim's name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
