Laura Segal

Laura S.C. Segal, age 66 of Wakefield died Saturday September 10 in Melrose.

Born on May 6,1956, the daughter of the late Antonio and Mabel (Rios) Agcaoili.

She was raised in Charlestown and was a graduate of Charlestown High School. She had been a Wakefield resident for the past 30 years and was a member of Saint Florence Church. She was retired from the U.S. Federal Court House in Boston where she worked as a Budget Analyst. She was a lover of animals and supporter of animal programs.

Laura was the beloved wife of the late Phillip H. Segal. She was the loving mother of Melanie Segal, Andrew Segal and his wife Violet, Dennis Segal and his wife Shannon, and the late Sherry Segal. She was the sister of Marie Chianca, Durval Agcaoili, Suzette Pacheco, Antonio Agcaoili and John Agcaoili. She was the loving grandmother of Sebastian, Charlotte, Dennis, Nicholas and Ashley. She is also survived by her dear extended family members, Maria Rios and Amanda Marchetta as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Florence Church 47 Butler Avenue Wakefield on Friday September 16 at 10:30. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Avenue Wakefield on Thursday from 4-7pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
