Lawrence Keenan, Jr.

Lawrence J. Keenan, Jr, 80, of Stoneham died on Sunday, January 24 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Somerville on February 14, 1929, he was the son of the late Lawrence J. and Esther L. (Finnigan) Keenan.

Mr. Keenan was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School. He had worked for the Stoneham Department of Works before his retirement.

Mr. Keenan was the brother of the late John Keenan of Stoneham.

Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Thursday beginning at 9 a.m. to be followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, Stoneham at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
