Lawrence Restuccia

Lawrence J. Restuccia, Jr. , 90, of Lynnfield formerly of Reading died on Friday, August 17 at his residence.

Born in Malden on November 1, 1921 he was the son of the late Lawrence J. and Mable (Jones) Restuccia.

Mr. Restuccia was a graduate of Malden High School, class of 1939 and Wentworth Institute. He was a retired engineer for Stone & Weber in Boston. Mr. Restuccia was a World War II Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his wife Janet I. (Dailey) Restuccia, his children; Karen Smith and her husband Richard of Wakefield, Michael Restuccia and his wife Stephanie of NY and Alice Dailey and her companion Toni Encarnacao of Danvers his brother George Restuccia and his sister Louise both of York, ME. Mr. Restuccia is also survived by his 5 grandchildren: Danielle, Heather, Jonathan, Matthew and Ryan and his 3 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Our Lady of the Assumption Church, corner of Salem and Grove Sts, Lynnfield on Wednesday at 12pm. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield prior to the Mass starting at 10am. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA, 01701 or to the Hospice of the North Shore, 75 Sylvan St. Danvers, MA 01923.
