Lena Tine

Lena L . Tine , of Arcadia, California formerly of Wakefield died on Monday, January 1 at the Arcadia Methodist Hospital.

Born in Wakefield on March 8, 1919 she was the daughter of the late John and Carmella (Bonito) DiTonno.

Lena's greatest gifts were the love and attention she showed to her family and friends. Whether she shared her time or her talent for sewing and crocheting, she gave of herself in many loving ways.

Mrs. Tine was the wife of 62 years to the late Sebastian T. Tine . She was the loving mother of Sandra Williams and her husband Larry of Arcadia, CA, the late Thomas Tine and his late wife Diane of Wakefield, her four grandchildren; Linda Quinn, David Williams, Michael Tine and Steven Tine , her five great grandchildren; Kristine, Justin and Melissa Williams and Ally and Tori Quinn and her two great great grandchildren; Kate and Zoey. Mrs. Tine was predeceased by her three brothers; Rudolph, Frank and Alfred DiTinno and her four sisters; Yola Amico, Mary Reed, Vienna Page and Rose Dunphy.

Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10am. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
