Lenore Neil

Lenore Dorine Neil , 70, of Melrose died on Monday, August 20 at her home.

Born in Casper, Wyoming on June 29, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Dorine (Dotson) George.

Lenore was a graduate of Pueblo Colorado High School, Class of 1957. She moved to California before moving to Melrose in 1962. She was a retired Dispatcher for Boston & Maine Railroad and Amtrack.

Mrs. Neil was the mother of Ronald Neil and his wife Julie (Menezes) Neil of Methuen and the late Anthony Michael Neil . She was the sister of Melody Logan, and Ernest Logan both of CA and the late Vivian Smith. She was the grandmother of Jeremy and Alena Neil of Methuen, and Shayna Savage Brown of Gilford, NH and the great grandmother of Kendyll Lee Brown.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105
