Leokadia Czerniszewicz

Leokadia Czerniszewicz 91, died on April 4, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Kocierzew, Poland on October 18, 1923 she was the daughter of Jozef and Marianna (Pietrzak) Kotlarski.

Leokadia was raised in Poland and was a longtime resident of Stoneham since 1969. She was a member of St. Patrick Church.

Leokadia was the wife of the late Bogdan Czerniszewicz. She was the loving mother of Grace E. Jakubowicz and husband George of Reading and the late Leslie Cherni. She was the grandmother of Mark and Nicola Jakubowicz. She is also survived by her two sisters Zosia and Stasia, nieces and nephews in Poland and in Thunder Bay Canada. She will be very dearly missed by all, including special friends, Emily McAteer and Richard Fijalkowski of Toronto, Canada.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 30 at St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Arrangements are in the care of McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, Stoneham.
