Leonard Bryan, Jr.

Leonard W. Bryan, Jr., 66, of Stoneham, formerly of Wakefield and Somerville, died on Wednesday, March 2 at his home.

Born in Medford on May 25, 1944 he was the son of the late Leonard and Catherine (Murphy) Bryan.

Leonard was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1962. He had worked as a machinist for Wellman Company of Medford and retired from Andy's Service Center of Malden where he had worked as a mechanic and truck driver.

Leonard had been a Somerville resident from 1966 to 1981 and a Wakefield resident from 1981 to 2003 before moving to Stoneham.
He was a member of St. Patrick Church in Stoneham.

Mr. Bryan was the husband of the late MaryAnn E. (Comita) Bryan. He was the father of Mark Bryan and his wife Sharon of Stoneham and Robert Bryan of Reading. He was the grandfather of Alyssa, Austin, Sean, Vanessa and Robert, Jr.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 a.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
