Leonard Tarnoff

Leonard Tarnoff of Wakefield, age 76 died June 30 after a lengthy illness. Born in Hillside, NJ on May 23, 1932 he was the son of the late Makary & Genevieve (Kisolosky) Tarnoff . He was raised in Hillside, NJ and was a graduate of Rutgers University and Seton Hall School of Law. Mr. Tarnoff was a retired Sales Manager for the Church & Dwight Company of Princeton, NJ, a division of the Arm & Hammer Company. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Wakefield Lodge of Elks and St. Florence Church in Wakefield.

He was the husband of Mariane P. (Stone). He is also survived by his son Leonard J. Tarnoff & wife Marcia of Montville, NJ and his daughter Melissa L. Gustafson and husband Keith of Wakefield. Also his grandchildren Trevor, Jake & Chase Tarnoff and Ava Gustafson. He is predeceased by his brothers Sergei and Makary Tarnoff .

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church 47 Butler Ave. Wakefield at 10:00. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 5-7 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House 320 Haverhill St. Reading, MA 01867
