Lester Muise

Lester D. Muise, 85, a lifelong Wakefield resident died at the Melrose – Wakefield Hospital on Thursday July 11.

Born in Wakefield on January 5, 1928, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Edith (DeViller) Muise.

Mr. Muise was raised in Wakefield. He had served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Mr. Muise was a member of St. Joseph Church and was also a former member of the Wakefield Eagles. He had been retired from Wakefield Bearing Company.

Mr. Muise was the loving husband of Barbara (Sheppard) Muise. He was the father of Gail Farrington and her husband Bruce and Robert J. Muise all of Wakefield. He was the brother of Madeline Muse of Fitchburgh, Hazel Jacquard, Yvonne Bragalone and Marilyn Forbes all of Wakefield and the late Marjorie Kittery. He was the grandfather of Kara and Kelli Farrington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave Wakefield on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 11 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4 – 8 pm.

Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
