Lillian J. Concessi, 87, a life long resident of Wakefield, died on Tuesday, July 22 at her home.
Born in Wakefield, she was the daughter of the late Assunto and Angelina (DiBeradino) Benedetto.
Mrs. Concessi was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1938. She married her husband Donato Concessi during World War II. She was a member of St. Florence Church in Wakefield.
Mrs. Concessi was the wife of the late Donato Concessi. She is survived by two sons, Daniel J. Concessi of Wakefield and Paul S. Concessi of Saco, ME, two sisters, Jenny Volpe of Reading and Linda Devine of Wakefield, six grandchildren, Leigh, Daniel Jr., Teresa and Christian, Michael and Robert and 3 great grandchildren, Anthony, Domenic and Carlo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Concessi was predeceased by her son Robert W. Concessi, who died November 1971, his sister, Gilda Garnett and brothers, Alfred, Anthony, George and John Benedetto.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, Wakefield on Saturday, July 26 at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
