Lillian Ryan

Lillian E. Ryan, 79, of Wakefield, died on Thursday, October 23 at the Wingate at Reading.

Born in Somerville on February 19, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Sullivan) Farrell.

Mrs. Ryan was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Somerville. She had worked for John Hancock of Boston and later worked for Howard & Richards Company of Wakefield before her retirement. She was a member of St. Florence Church.

Mrs. Ryan was the beloved wife of the late William P. Ryan. She was the loving mother of William Ryan and his wife Kim of Woburn and Mark Ryan and his wife Lynne of Medford, Deborah Procacini and her husband Richard of Tewksbury, Lynne Marcus and her husband Peter of Wakefield, Leigh Ryan of North Reading and the late Karen Ramocki. Sister of John Farrell of Wakefield Mary Farrell of Lynn, Roseann Hackett and the late Richard Farrell. Mother-in-law of Stephen Ramocki. Devoted grandmother of Kevin and Nicole Ramocki, Jenna and Michael Procaini, Jack, Courtney, Camryn & Ashley Ryan and Ryan Marcus.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 4 PM. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
