Linda Sarno

Linda A . Sarno , 55, a Wakefield resident since 1984, died on Thursday, July 24 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading.

Born in Woburn on February 25, 1953, she was the daughter of Frances (Amirault) Packer of Reading and the late Everett Packer.

Mrs. Sarno was a native of Reading and a graduate of Reading High School, Class of 1972. She had worked for the Redding Answering Service.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Sarno is survived by her husband, Michael J. Sarno , her son, Michael A . Forsythe and daughter, Kathleen Sarno both of Wakefield, a brother, Gordon Packer and his wife Donna of York, ME and two sisters Donna Packer of Reading and Joan McDuff of Hyde Park. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Sarah Forsythe.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 9:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church Wakefield at 10:00 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 5 P.M. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
