Linda Bettincourt

Linda Diane Bettincourt , age 71, of Plaistow, NH formerly of Wakefield, MA passed away Thursday, April 28 at the Exeter Center in Exeter, NH.

Born in Potsdam, NY on March 13, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Leon and Jean (Kembel) Schuyler.

Linda was raised in Foxborough and was a graduate of Foxborough High School and then of University of Rhode Island. She had raised her family in Wakefield and enjoyed arts and crafts. Linda spent her career as a health care consultant, spending many years at Tufts, before spending a final few years at KPMG until her retirement. Linda spent her retirement year being very involved in her Plaistow, NH community, participating in blood drives and donating time at the senior center, among other activities. She and her late husband had a love of NASCAR and enjoyed travelling to attend their events.

She was the beloved wife of the late James F. Bettincourt . She was the loving mother of Karen J. Bettincourt and her boyfriend Adam Foster of Rochester, NH. She was the sister of Sandra Young and her husband David of Yarmouth, MA and Gary Schuyler and his wife Donna of Lakeville, MA. She was the aunt of Matthew Schuyler and his wife Ashley, Timothy Schuyler and his wife Noelle, and Amy Smith and her husband Andrew. She is also survived by seven great nieces and nephews and two "grand-pups," Fenway and Toast.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday, May 4 from 3-6pm.
