Lison Scalzo, age 56 of Wakefield, passed away on Wednesday March 26 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. She was born in Boston, MA on April 2, 1968.
If there happened to be a sudden lighthearted energy change in a room, you knew Lison had just walked in. She carried herself with the most vivacious attitude and love for everybody around her. It was contagious. If there was one thing about Lison, she was ambitious. If she had a goal, she would achieve it, no questions asked. Recently, she accomplished one of her lifelong goals of becoming a licensed esthetician. If she had a passion she strived for it. Anyone who knew Lison was inspired by the ambition she had, and she will continue to be a reminder everyday to those whose hearts she’s touched that if “you want something, go for it.” To Lison, family was everything, including friends who became family along the way. She leaves behind her beloved Mother, Emily Saitta, her husband whom she loved dearly, Silvio Scalzo, and her three daughters whom she meant everything to, Julia, Emma, and Sophia Scalzo. Lison is also survived by her loving in-laws, Eugenio and Eleonora Scalzo, her sister-in-law Erica Scalzo-Dysart and nephew TJ Dysart. Her creative mind and empathetic heart touched, and will continue to touch so many lives.
To know Lison, was to love Lison. Please join us in honoring the beautiful soul she was.
