Logan-Tyler Joseph Dunn, age 20, died Wednesday, June 7 at the Maine Medical Center following a tragic car accident.
Born in Salem, MA on June 1, 1997 he was the beloved son of Tammy M. Penny and Kenneth J. Dunn.
Logan had attended both Danvers High School and Wakefield High School and graduated from WHS in 2016. He was on both the football and hockey teams, the latter of which he excelled in and was passionate about from a young age. He then attended North Shore Community College before working for both Atlantic Paving and Gaetas Enterprises. Logan enjoyed quality time with his mom and time with his dad. He loved to spend time with friends and family and loved outdoor activities; but most of all, Logan loved making people happy - by putting a smile on their face no matter what it took him to do to get it!
He was the beloved son of Tammy M. Penny and her partner Edward Kocur of Wakefield and Kenneth J. Dunn and his fiancée Mary Armstrong of Danvers. He was the grandson of Robert and Judy Dube of Salem, Joseph A. Dunn and his partner Anita Rivers of Salem, Maria Dunn and her partner Joseph Burke of Middleton and the late Tucker Penny and his surviving spouse Caroline Penny of GA. He was the brother of Payton-Taylor Mae Dunn of Danvers, Nicole Ronan of CA, and David Ronan of Salem. He was the uncle of Landon Mata. He was the nephew of Alisha Michelle Gallo and her husband Anthony of W. Peabody, Lisa Dunn of Haverhill, and Tina Penny and Trey Penny, both of GA. He was the godson of Collette Dube of Salem and Norman Dube of Lynn. Logan is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Wednesday at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday from 3-7pm. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
