Lois P. Adams, 95, of Stoneham formerly of Wakefield, died Saturday, October 18 at her home.
Born in Melrose on June 16, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Arthur G. and Jennie (Bolton) Parker.
Mrs. Adams was a lifelong Wakefield resident and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Wakefield and was involved with the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. Prior to her retirement, Lois had worked in the Insurance industry.
Mrs. Adams was the loving wife of the late Frank R. Adams and the sister of the late Gladys Parker. She is survived by her cousin Paul McNulty of GA and her extended families, the White and Jarema families of Wakefield.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday from 4-7pm. A memorial service will be held in the Loud Chapel of the First Baptist Church, 8 Lafayette St., Wakefield on Wednesday at 11am. Interment prior to the service at 10am at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lois' name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
