Lois Venezia

Lois G . Venezia , 85, longtime Wakefield resident, died Tuesday, May 24 at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Born in Swampscott on October 4, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Egbert and Geraldine (Stone) Patten.

Mrs. Venezia was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She was a retired clerk for HUD in Boston and had worked for the United States Postal Service in Boston. She was a member of St. Joseph Church.

She was the wife of the late Leonard J. Venezia . She was the mother of Susan Lowell of Wakefield. Sister of Ernest Patten of Maine and the late George Patten and Gloria Eaton.

Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield, at 10 a.m. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
