Loisann Santomango

Loisann (Smith) Santomango, 74, of Alton Bay, NH, formerly of West Peabody, MA died peacefully on Monday, December 6 , with her family by her side.

Born in Lynn, MA on June 30, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Norman and Anna (Glynn) Smith.

Mrs. Santomango was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She was a computer operator for Essex County Bank in Peabody before her retirement.

Mrs. Santomango was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Lynnfield, MA. She enjoyed gardening, the beach and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Santomango was the wife of the late Anthony Santomango formally of Somerville, MA. She is survived by her daughter's Patricia Zingarelli and her husband Joseph of Middleton, MA, Lisa Santomango of Portsmouth, NH, Linda Hayes and her husband Brian of Canton, MA , 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, the late Anthony Santomango Jr. She was the sister of Norma Fish of CA and Madelyn Byrne of Newburyport, MA.

A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield, MA on Thursday December 9, from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, corner of Grove and Salem Streets, Lynnfield, MA at 10 o'clock. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford, MA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of MA, 1 Bullfinch Place, 2nd Fl., Boston, MA 02114.
