Lorette Meuse

Lorette M. Meuse, 88, a life long Wakefield resident died Tuesday, April 10th at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Wakefield.

Born in Wakefield on April 29, 1923 she was the daughter of the late John J. and Rose C. (LeBlanc) Meuse.

Lorette was raised and educated in Wakefield and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1940. She had worked for the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles as a supervisor for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and Catholic Women's Club of the church

Lorette is survived by her sister Dorothy A. Meuse of Wakefield. She was predeceased by her brother John J. Meuse Jr. and sisters Josephine D'Entremont and Mary Elizabeth Meuse. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave Wakefield Friday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St, Wakefield at 10:00. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday 4-7 p.m. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
