Lorraine Edwards

Lorraine F. Edwards, 88, of Wakefield, died April 11. Born in Malden, MA on September 26, 1925 the daughter of the late Wendell V. and Helen L (Bissett) Weyland .

Mrs. Edwards was a life long Wakefield resident and graduate of Wakefield High School. She was also a long time and active member of the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, piano and was also a past member of Women's Bowling League of Wakefield.

Mrs. Edwards was the beloved wife of the late Russell L. Edwards. She was the loving mother of David R. Edwards and his wife Linda of Wilmington, Stephen A. Edwards and his wife Carol A. of Portsmouth, and Pamela A. Edwards of Wakefield. She was the sister of Robert Weyland of MO, Wendell Weyland of Boxford, Gail Johnson of FL, Susan Raymond of Littleton and the late Donald Weyland. She was the devoted grandmother of Michael, Andrea, Jennifer and Danielle. She is also survived by her seven great grandchildren.
