Lorraine A. McLellan

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lorraine McLellan, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Known affectionately as "Nanny Lolo" to her cherished grandchildren, she brought warmth, joy, and creativity to all who knew her.

A lifelong resident of Wakefield, MA, she was a familiar and friendly face at Hallmark Health and Dutton Family Care, where her kind spirit, radiant smile, and beautiful blue eyes made everyone feel at home.

She had a passion for crafting—whether it was knitting, painting, or proudly bragging about her grandchildren’s latest accomplishments, her love and pride were always evident. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by family and friends, creating memories full of laughter and love.

She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, creativity, and unwavering devotion. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Lorraine is survived by daughter Christine Kozak and her husband Glen of Foral Park, NY; sons Scott McLellan and his wife Heather of Holbrook, MA and Kevin McLellan and his wife Stacie of North Carolina; sisters Judith Conroy of Maine and Kelly Romeo and her husband David of Wakefield, MA; Grandchildren Mitchell, Amanda, Jason, Matthew, William, Olivia, Brett, Gabreil, Viktor and Thomas. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Dorothea (Nickerson) Monahan, brother Ricky Monahan and sister Diane Muise.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave Wakefield on Thursday April 24 from 9:30am – 11:00am. Her Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am. Burial will take place at a later date in Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
