Lorraine Owen

Lorraine F. Owen of Wakefield, age 71 died April 21. Born in Woburn, MA on May 30, 1938 she was the daughter of the late John J. & Frances E. (Snyder) Goreman. Mrs. Owen was raised in Woburn and was a graduate of St. Charles Catholic High School of Woburn. She was retired from the Marshall's Distribution Center of Woburn and had previously worked for the American Mutual Insurance Company of Woburn and Prudential Insurance.

Mrs. Owen is survived by her husband Jerry D. Owen. Her son, Jeffrey D. Owen of Wakefield. Her daughter, Janice M. Owen & her husband Peter Thomas of Kittery Pt. Maine. She was the sister of Janice Fitzgerald & husband Tom of Woburn, Helen Bacon of Rye, NH, Nancy Goreman of Reading and the late John T. Goreman and Carol Gove. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Callie, Nathaniel, Jeffrey, Katherine, Lillian, Elizabeth and Maryellen and her great granddaughter Jesstina..

Funeral services will be private.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
