Lorraine Patti

Lorraine L. Patti, 72, of Wakefield, formerly of Stoneham died Wednesday May 11 in Melrose.

Born in Boston on September 29, 1938 she was the daughter of the late George & Louise (Gallella) Patti.

Lorraine was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1956 and worked for many years as a secretary in the medical field. She always helped those in need and gave a home to many foster children during her lifetime. Lorraine enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Barbara Buggy & her husband Michael of Melrose, Charlene D. Young & her husband Chris and Joan M. Borthwick all of Wakefield. She was the sister of Barbara Langill of Stoneham and the late George Patti and the grandmother of Michael, Jr., Ashley & Coran Buggy, Tyler & Timothy Gordon and Anthony Solazzo-Patti.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 1-4 pm.
