Lorraine Walsh

Lorraine M . Walsh , 82 of Wakefield died Friday May 23 in Medford. Born in Melrose on February 12, 1932 the daughter of the late Louis & Josephine (DeMarco) Millett. Mrs. Walsh was a life long Wakefield resident and graduate of Wakefield High School. She had worked for the former Park Snow's Department Store of Wakefield and also Alana's of Wakefield.

Mrs. Walsh was the beloved wife of Robert T. "Pick" Walsh . She was the loving mother of Deborah W. Grover and husband William of Ithaca, NY and Robert T. Walsh , Jr, and wife Tricia and David L.Walsh of Wakefield. She was the grandmother of Justene L and Haley L. Walsh and Billy and Michael Grover. She was also the sister of the late Priscilla Minghella

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Friday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 10:00. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home Thursday 4-8 pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Walsh's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.
