Louisa Patalano

Louisa Patalano, of Stoneham died Wednesday December 30 in Stoneham at age 94. Mrs. Patalano was born in Gaeta, Italy on October 4, 1921 and was the beloved daughter of the late Gabriella and Maria (Antetomaso) Grafo. She came to Stoneham from her native Italy in1958. She was a talented seamstress and had worked for Trimont Clothing and later Grieco Brothers Clothing of Stoneham and later of Lawrence.

She was the beloved wife of the late Mario B. Patalano. She was the loving mother of Sal Patalano of NH and the late Raymond Patalano and his surviving wife Tina of Stoneham. She was the devoted grandmother of Mario Patalano and his wife Melissa, Josephine Benassi and her husband Joe and John Patalano and his wife Kristina. She was also the great grandmother of Cameron, Andrew, Tallulah, Natalie and Sadie. She is predeceased by her siblings, Salvina Nardone, Anna Macone, Sr. Gabriella Maria and Rita Simeone.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham on Wednesday beginning at 8am to be followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10:00. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
