Louisa Rosati

Lucy M. Rosati, 91, of Wakefield died on Friday, February 8 at her son Peter's home in Middleton.

Born in Wakefield on December 25, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Sabatino and Louisa (Evangelista) Tropeano.

Lucy was raised and educated in Wakefield. Her favorite past time was shopping and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed cooking.

Lucy was the wife of the late Mario P. Rosati. She was the mother of Michael J. Rosati and his wife Barbara of MD, Peter Rosati and his wife Patty of Middleton and Cynthia Romano of Reading. She was the sister of James Tropeano of Byfield and the late Jenny Magliacane, Edith Spinello, Marion Golini and Benjamin, Emilio, Ralph and Samuel Tropeano. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield prior to the mass from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
