Louise DiCarlo

Louise Angelina DiCarlo, 85 a longtime resident of Stoneham died Monday May 14, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.

Born in Boston on January 11, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Clementina (Rizzo) Cataldo.

Louise was raised in Boston and Medford. She was a graduate of Medford High School class of 1945. Louise was employed as a Quality Control Inspector for Marshalls Distribution Center for 20 years before her retirement.

Louise always put her family first. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always had a helping hand whenever it was needed. She was very much loved by her family, friends, and her cat Niko, and Parakeet, Pretty Bird.


Louise was the wife of the late Mathew A. DiCarlo. She was the mother of Maureen Fields and husband John R. Sr. of No. Reading, and Debbie Krenzer and husband Brian of Haverhill, the sister of Gloria Ferrullo of Winthrop, Angelo Cataldo of Quincy, and Richard Cataldo of Stoneham, and the late Emma Baliestiero, Lil DeMarino, Josephine Antonucci, Nora Giovangelo, Robert Cataldo, and Dorothy Gaynor. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amy Liberto and husband Sal, John Fields Jr., Tyler, Ashley, Travis, and Trevor Speck, and Samantha and Haylee Krenzer, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Friday at 8 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 9 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Interment, Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
