Louise Fitzgerald

Louise C. Fitzgerald, 81, of Peabody died on Tuesday, March 8 at Hunt Nursing Home in Danvers.

Born in Malden on April 21, 1929 she was the daughter of the late John and Ethel (Johnson) Fitzgerald.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School, Class of 1947. She was also a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston. Before her retirement she had worked for the Department of Defense in Boston. She was a member of St. Adelaide Church in Peabody.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was the sister of Marguerite F. Cullinan of Lynnfield and Ethel Walmsley of Rumford, RI. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Adelaide Church in Peabody at 10 o'clock. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
