Louise Martino

Louise E. Martino, 87 of Stoneham died Thurday July 24, at the Harborside Health Care in Wakefield following a lengthy illness. Born in Boston She was the daughter of the late Lester and Ameila (Syring) Catlin.

Louise spent most of her childhood in Charlestown and Somerville before moving to Stoneham over 50 years ago. She was previously employed by North Metropolitan Health and New England Memorial Hospital, where she enjoyed helping others.

Louise was the wife of the late Gennaro J. Martino and is survived by her 3 daughters; Geraldine J. Martino of Methuen, Brenda L. Reagan and her husband James of Derry, NH and Carol A. Martino of Stoneham. A step-daughter June Lion of Newton. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Ruth Blanchet.

Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Tuesday morning from 10 AM to 1 PM. A Graveside service will follow at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
